2. Do INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs have any side effects?
In a small percentage of dogs, the following adverse reactions have been reported following the use of INTERCEPTOR® (milbemycin oxime) Flavor Tabs®: depression/lethargy, vomiting, ataxia, anorexia, diarrhea, convulsions, weakness and hypersalivation. The number of reported reactions is very small in relation to the number of animals receiving treatment with INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs. As with other heartworm preventives, dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to using INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs. In a small percentage of treated dogs, digestive and neurologic effects may occur. 3. What if my dog weighs over 100 pounds?

4. Can my puppy take INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs?
Yes, INTERCEPTOR® Flavor Tabs® are safe for puppies four weeks of age or older, and weighing two pounds or more. As with other heartworm preventives, dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to using INTERCEPTOR® Flavor Tabs®. 5. Can INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs be used in collies?
Yes. INTERCEPTOR® Flavor Tabs® have been tested safely in over 75 breeds of dogs, including collies, pregnant females, breeding males and females, and puppies over two weeks of age. No adverse drug interactions were observed. As with other heartworm preventives, dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to using INTERCEPTOR® Flavor Tabs®. INTERCEPTOR® (milbemycin oxime) Flavor Tabs® have been tested safely in over 75 different breeds of dogs. During the field trials, dogs were exposed to a variety of veterinary products including vaccines, anthelmintics, ectoparasiticides, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, cortiscosteroids, hormones and opthalmic and dermatologic preparations.
